Artist Ellen Jewett

Canine Culture

Hello everyone, CEO Olivia here. Today I have sniffed out some surreal artwork. Working with a mixture of cold porcelain & polymer atop a metal wire armature, artist Ellen Jewett  creates wildly intricate sculptures of animals covered in a tangle of surreal embellishments. The artist describes her works as “anthrozoology meets psycho analysis,” where tiny clues left in the feathers, fur, & tentacles of each piece lead to a greater story.

You can see more of Ellen Jewett’s artwork on Instagram. Stay home, stay safe. Together we can #plankthecurve

Artist Paul Tavernor

Canine Culture

Hi everyone, welcome to Friday. Today’s artist was sniffed out by Toby the Puppy Bomb‘s huMom. I myself was not able to sniff out very much information but here’s what I found out.

Artist Paul Tavernor, is an English self-taught artist who has been painting for over 15 years. He has held many solo exhibitions & also exhibited with the Wildlife Art Society & The National Exhibition for Wildlife Art. He was made a fellow of the British Society of Painters in 2004.

He does much more than just paint as you’re about to see.

Stay safe, stay home.
