Good afternoon Dot & Jerry Underfoot here to MeowNow.

We had to put our paws down with huMom today.  She has been dealing with a migraine & we nose staring at the compawter is not helping.  So we said “huMom, we are going to re share that pawsome post Olivia barked out back 2016 about being pawpared for emergency.

Recently we have been told about 2 different forest fires near us.  So last Saturday huMom pawpared for evacuation.  She has kept up with reports online & through furiends.  The relentless heat wave hasn’t made it easy for anyone & we are making sure the critters outside are getting water.  This year even the wasp are coming in for drinks.  All the ponds here, shallow to begin with, have all dried  up.  The dryness is pawfect for fire.

Anyway, we doggress.  Today huMom got an update from our good furiend Anna telling us that the fire closest to us remains much the same. It hasn’t grown in size & is now considered tentatively contained. We will still remained ready if things do change but this is good news.  Hopefully, both fires will be dealth with & extenguished soon.  Our thoughts are  with all who are dealing with nature’s cry out.
