Cone of Shame Dogs Go Glam For Rescues

Canine Culture

As pawmised last week, this blog post goes to the dogs…good dogs.  Last week’s cat show was pawfectly furbulous but dog gone it, who doesn’t want to see good dogs glamming the catwalk. 😉  Hi CEO Olivia here to share some pawsome dogs who wear their cones of shame with glam & pride.

For years photographer Winnie Au & costume designer Marie-Yan Morvan been working together to highlight & help raise money for rescue dogs who have urgent medical needs.  Marie-Yan creates the pawsome collars & Winnie photographs each dog, who’s furbulous cone, & pawsome backdrop was created as a mash-up of abstract shapes, tones, & textures. I know, means very little to us dogs & cats but it makes the humans happy.  Pawceeds from the sale of Cone of Shame notecards & prints are donated to Animal Haven’s Recovery Road fund.

Let’s take a sniff at what I dug up.

Who wore it the best in your pawsonel opinion? You can sniff out more of Winnie Au’s work on Instagram.  Want to dig into Marie-Yan Morvan’s work?  She’s also on Instagram.

Have a pawsome weekend. Remember to be gnawsome, be kind & stay safe.

CEO Olivia, with Dot & Jerry Underfoot 🐾💜🐾
