Over the years my huMom & I have connected with many online in the canine epilepsy community. We’re grateful for the pawsitive, supportive furiends that we have met while sharing experiences & resources.
Every day, people having just learned their dog has epilepsy seek out these groups looking for help, emotional support & knowledge, just as we did & continue to do.
It’s been a quite few years now but we haven’t forgotten what it was like to be new to canine epilepsy. Today we would like to share an earlier blog post entitled, Are You New To Canine Epilepsy?
Your not alone, just reach out a paw.
To honor our wagnificent Canine Epilepsy Community we directed this short film created for 2019 November Epilepsy Awareness Month. Sharing facts & paying tribute to all Canine Epilepsy Warriors.
Our Charity of choice is The Wally Foundation – canine epilepsy, a non profit that help qualifying individuals or families who are struggling with the costs of canine epilepsy medications. Founder Rick Selwood believes no one should have to surrender a beloved companion animal because you can’t afford their medication. If you would like to make a donation, you may do so through PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=TJFALAS5DJ7T6 or visit the Wally Foundation – canine epilepsy Facebook page and click the ‘Learn More’ button which will take you to their PayPal account. Note, I am not a recipient of TWF but my huMom does sit on the Board. All Board members are volunteers.
All monies donated go directly to those in need. You could make a difference in a Canine Epilepsy Warrior’s life & be the lucky donor to receive a $250 Amazon Card if you donate during November Epilepsy Awareness Month!
