International Purple Day 2020

News

Hi everyone, CEO Olivia here. I know a lot of you are now working from home. I hope you’re still wearing your finest purple, because it’s Purple Day, a global movement to raise epilepsy awareness.

If you need a break from the interwebs, have some fun with your four legged companion. Dress up in your finest purple or find something purple in your home,  then snap a pic or two. Be creative, jammies are acceptable. BOL!

Then you can post the pics on my Facebook page, “Oh, The Life of Olivia”. I’ll share them to the Wally Foundation ~ Canine Epilepsy page. For those of you who can, please consider making a donation.

Stay strong everyone. Stay home if you’ve been asked to.

The Knotty Rove Tosser was won by Jana Pobulic

The Knotty Nips were won by Tiny Tony aka Chicken who has generously gifted them to Toby the Puppy Bomb. AarROOoo!

The Big Gnaw was won by Carol Knight & Jeff Chasen. They both bid the same amount & after all, the money is going to a wagnificent organization, TWF. Jeff is donating his prize to the Tanksley Herd in memory of Riley. That’s pawsitively generous of him.

Thank you everyone who participated. I think I’ll hold another auction one day.  What do you think about that?

Remember, The Wally Foundation – canine epilepsy is always in need of donations & canine epilepsy awareness is pawtacular everyday ❤

Please take a moment & pawse to remember all our furiends & fellow Epi Warriors who are struggling today, those we have lost & their loving caregivers who tirelessly protect us ❤

Artist Sam Price

Canine Culture

Welcome to Friday everyone, CEO Olivia reporting. Today I’ve sniffed out the work of San Francisco artist Sam Price. His art technique is called collage or photo-montage. It requires hours of assembling, cutting & pasting hundreds of tiny paper pieces onto canvas to create a finished work of art. His work is considered Eco-friendly as his materials are recycled.

To celebrate International Purple Day, I’m having a silent auction where you can bid on a Knotty Toy for your good dog or cool cat.  Just visit my Facebook page, Oh, The Life Of Olivia, I’ve pinned the auction to the top of the page & all the details are there. You’ll be helping the Wally Foundation – Canine Epilepsy.

Have a pawsome weekend.
