Photographer Elke Vogelsang

Canine Culture

Hi everyone & welcome to Friday. We’ve had a crazy week, so I’ve been looking at some beautiful photo’s of good dogs and cool cats by German photographer Elke Vogelsang. Her work has been seen all over the globe. She also has published a book, “Nice Nosing You – for the love of life, dogs & photography”.

Many of her pictures are of her “photography companion dogs” & family members Noodles, Scout & Loli, three Spanish rescue dogs.

In order to “pay it forward”, Elke takes pictures of foster dogs free of charge to try to find forever homes for them. What a pawsome human.

Have a wooftastic weekend.

Spring is how many weeks away? BOL! Seriously though, winter isn’t so bad. All good dogs enjoy a good romp in the snow now & then. I was sniffing about the inter-webs & found ample proof. See for yourself.

Have a wooftastic weekend.

The Flying Dogs of Photographer Julia Christe

Canine Culture

German photographer & dog lover Julia Christe has a book called, Flying Dogs, which captures dogs in mid-flight. The dogs were dropped onto a mattress from the arms of their off-camera humans. I think the results are both BOL! funny, but also a pawsome inspiration.

Julia & her family live on a farm with donkeys, horses, goats, cats, & two dogs . She studied Communication Design at the University of Essen/Folkwangschule in Germany. Her work has been shown internationally & she has won many awards including The Kodak Young Talent Award.

Have a wooftastic weekend.
