Happy Howlleen!🎃👻🦇  Hi CEO Olivia here to share with you pics of my past Howlleen customs & tips how to keep your 4 leggers safe this Howlleen. It can be pawsitively a wooftastic day & night but there are saftey tips we need to put in place.

 

 

Dot was insistent that we start with the door.  Her & Jerry Underfoot are indoor cats but love to look out the full length window in our front door & sometimes when huMom forgets to lock it the wind can blow it open.  On Howlleen, the door is constantly being open making a pawfect chance for a 4 legger to escape.  Shelters report that Howlleen is one of the busiest nights for take in & calls for missing 4 leggers. For this reason please make sure your 4 leggers ID tags & microchips are up to date.  If you nose that this is a risk pawhaps it would be best to keep us 4 leggers safe in another room or on lead.

 

 

Chocolate, other caffeine stimulants &  xylitol are pawsitively dangerous & can be fatal for us 4 leggers.  Make sure all your furmily members & guests, especially  children, nose how impawtant it is to keep candies & chocolate away from us dogs & cats.  Wrappers can be sniffed out & digested as well so please remember to include them in this talk.  Raisons & grapes are also dangerous & should be pawt of this dogscussion.

 

 

Customes are fun but not all of us dogs & cats enjoy them as much as I do.  Dot & Jerry are among those that do not like to be dressed up.  Please don’t dress up your frightened or grumpy 4 leggers; isn’t fun for them & can create serious stress for them.  If they do love to be pawt of Howlleen make sure costumes are breathable, light weight to avoid over heating, don’t include pawts that could be chewed off & swallowed, & doesn’t confine or restrain movement in any way.

 

 

Candles look pawsome but cats & dogs can knock them over & cause a fire.  We nose how dangerous fire can be.  Instead use LED candles.  They are safe & are wagnificent at creating a pawfect Howlleen scene.

 

 

Glow sticks & glow jewelery are also pawpular & humans love them.  4 leggers can chew these & choke.  The substance that creates the glow is phenol, which can leak out & burn your 4 leggers & tongue.

 

 

It’s an exciting night but for some critters it is a terrifying experience.  Some don’t like company, the door bell, scary costumes or Howlleen noises.  Please create a safe place for those who are not into this pawtastic night.  Pawhaps they need to take an extra dose of EZ Rest, EnduraStress, Charlotte’s Web CBD for Dogs  or CBD Dog Health’s Calm.
