Have I ever mentioned that huMom & the huMom of my furiend Yoshi once owned & operated a textile gallery. It was a pawsome place of wagnificently curated fiber creations & good dogs Yoshi, Kiko, Pharoh, Suzi Q, & myself ready at all times to greet & meet visitors. Grrrreat memories but lets get a jump on this blog post.
Artist Bryony Rose Jennings is a textile artist we have mentioned in the past but at that time we only sniffed out her pawsome dog sculptures. Today, I dug up so much more. Let’s just dig right in.
One more dog for the road🐾
Bryony is a textile sculptor who originally trained in jewellery making & silversmithing. “As far back as I remember I’ve always had magpie-like tendencies, collecting & hoarding.” These treasures made up of vintage fabrics & trinkets are then used to create her wooftastic textile menagerie of furbulously stylised imaginary creatures full of character & pawsonality.
Want to see more, paw on over to her Instagram account. Shop or sign up for a class.
Have a pawsome weekend. Remember to stay safe.
