Hello everyone, welcome to Friday. Today I’m sharing the photography of an inter web furriend of my huMom. Paul Loader lives in the South coast of England. With his partner Linda Titch Bird, they run an animal charity called, Caring for the Animals Trust or CARAT, for short. They rescue dogs in Greece & find them loving forever homes. Stray dogs are a problem in Greece, they are seen as pests & are treated terribly.
Paul & his partner have at least twelve rescued dogs in their home. Many of these dogs have come from horrific situations to come live in Paul & Linda’s huge loving pack.
Paul is an amateur photographer. I think he has a gift for capturing the joy & wonder of life. The problem I had was choosing just a sample so I decided to focus on his pack of rescues.
I’m glad to know there are good people like Paul & Linda. They are clearly devoted to providing the best life to as many dogs as possible. This holiday season, you might want to help support the Caring for the Animals Trust UK. In Greece there is no large animal welfare organisation like the Humane Society. All money donated goes directly to helping animals as the charity is run by volunteers only. They have shelters in Greece that could always use your help covering the cost of food, bedding, medical bills & public outreach.

Incredible images. Greece does not believe in spay and neutering and that contributes to the overpopulation of both cats and dogs in the islands. With the country’s economic woes, it’s been particularly rough on pets.
