      HuMom is so gaga over her experience with growing a vegetable garden this year, especially the onions.
      Having lived most of her life communally, she has always been the animal care person & someone else tended the gardens but this year she thought let’s try a few vegetables 🌶 🍅🥬🍆 & squash, zucchini & of course onions.

        Woohoo! How thrilling to have a beautiful vegetable garden. I planted a cherry tomato for the first time in a pot and it’s doing surprisingly well. Just hope I can keep the tree rats from it-they are the reason I stopped planting veggies years ago in this house.

        HuMom is also concerned the wild ones are going to take a bite out of all the veggies so she is going to put up chicken wire & any veggies that grow out of the containment (zucchini etc…) are free to for the taking. All our tomatoes are in pots too.
