Today we’re looking at the art of Australian print maker Deborah Williams. Deborah is a keen observer of the canine realm & how humans relate to it. Do humans see dogs for what they are, as separate beings?
Deborah says, “for a dog, it must surely be a complex relationship, enduring & interdependent, loving & loyal, yet simply ‘other’. It is this latter context, which I focus on. I aim to depict the dog not as a breed above, apart or beyond, but of its own. Captured in a moment.”
Have a pawsome weekend everyone.

We thoughts so too!
One particular piece reminds my huMom of a photo she took of her beloved Destabella.
Destabella was a lovely black dog who huMom will never forget.
