Video: The story of Flowers

Canine Culture

Hi everyone & welcome to Friday. This is CEO Olivia reporting. Today I’ve sniffed out a pawsome, beautiful video.

Spanning from day to night; from sunshine to rain & wind, “Story of Flowers” shows the various stages of botanical growth. Illustrated by Katie Scott, animated by James Paulley, & directed by Azuma Makoto, “Story of Flowers’, depicts the interconnected networks within an ecosystem, like the organisms underground fertilizing the soil or a pollinating bumblebee. Head to Instagram to sniff out more work from ScottPaulley, & Makoto.

Happy Valentines day, have a wooftastic weekend.

Wood Carver Tach Pollard

Canine Culture

Hi everyone, CEO Olivia here. Today we are sniffing out some pawsome wood carvings. UK-based artist/wood carver Tach Pollard transforms gnarled tree roots into fantastical creatures inspired by European folklore. Pollard began collecting tree roots when he was a child, but didn’t start carving them until much later in life. He predominantly works with oak tree roots, but has recently begun to work with hawthorn as well.

How magical. When I see a tree root, I just chew on it. BOL!

Have a wooftastic weekend.
