MeoWoW What A Purrfect Purple Pumpkin

Canine Epilepsy Awareness, Pawsonal

Ahem—gather ‘round, two-legged readers & four-leggers. Jerry Underfoot here, professional biscuit-maker, lap-warmer, & reigning champion of “Chase the Invisible Bug.” My hobbies include knocking over suspicious cups & appearing underfoot or insisting on wake up paws to the face. But today, I must put aside my whisker-twitching mischief to tell you about something much bigger than the mysterious red dot: my heroic canine Epilepsy Warrior & sister, Olivia.

Now, I nose you nose Olivia wasn’t your average tail-wagger. Sure, she sniffed out rogue treats like a truffle pig on a mission; she was a Pawfessional Stinkologist, but she’s also was a Mighty Epilepsy Warrior. Olivia faced down seizures with more courage than I muster when the vacuum makes its dastardly rounds. Instead of capes, Olivia’s symbol was not only a ‘purple ribbon’ but a “purple pumpkin.” You might spot these around the house (& no, I haven’t tried to eat them… recently). These purple pumpkins stand for epilepsy awareness—reminding everyone that heroes don’t always wear spandex. Sometimes, they have wagging tails & soulful beautiful eyes.

So that’s the scoop, friends. Stick around for more tales from underfoot—where the fur is plentiful, the snacks suspiciously scarce, & purple pumpkins mean hope for epilepsy warriors like my wagnificent sister Olivia.
