My Kidney Supplement

Health

Hello everyone, CEO Olivia reporting. As I’ve mentioned, this month I want to discuss the supplements I take to help me cope with my AED’s (anti epilepsy drugs) & to keep me in good health. In today’s environment, we could all use a little help, not just we epi-warriors.

Today I’m barking about my Kidney supplement. My medications can be harsh on my organs, especially my kidneys & liver. Four times a year, my huMom gives me Kidney Tone which is made by Omega Alpha. We have been using Omega Alpha products for several years now(note: Yes, we have started to sell Omega Alpha products this year but we are not being paid to endorse them.  We sell them because we use them & believe in their effectiveness).

The kidneys filter & remove toxins from the blood. If they are stressed from overwork they can be compromised & won’t function well. Over time this can lead to serious organ damage that can be fatal.

Kidney Tone is a detoxing formula made for both good dogs & cool cats. Everyone here takes it seasonally, even the cat’s Dottie & Jerry Underfoot. It’s a liquid herbal concoction based on both Chinese & western medicine. Just like soap makes for cleaner dishes, Kidney Tone helps cleanse the kidneys with it’s special herbs & antioxidants. Keeping the blood clean prevents disease like cancer from having a toxic environment suited to it’s growth. The less toxic you are the better you can absorb nutrients as well.

Kidney Tone also helps me pee out more toxins & can help keep my urinary tract healthy.

Do any of my fellow epi-warriors take supplements? If so, please share.

Next week I will be barking about my liver cleanser.

CEO Olivia

    1. Omega Alpha recommends using Kidney Tone twice a year for two weeks. Use three times a year if your dog or cat is dealing with long term medications like myself.
HuMom has always detoxed every new season so she thought why shouldn’t we😉

When HuMom spoke with Omega Alpha they stressed that Kidney Tone is a diuretic and plenty of fresh water is very important because your good dog’s or cat’s need to urinate will increase.

The medicinal ingredients in Kidney Tone are :

      Crataeva nurvala (Three Leaved Caper)
Three Leafed Caper is beneficial in the treatment of urinary tract infections, painful & burning urination, & urinary & kidney stones.

      Lysimachia Christina (Christina Loosestrife herb)
A traditional Chinese medicinal herb to promote urination, clear damp-heat, unblock stones & clear toxins. Lysimachia benefits circulation & supports kidney & gallbladder health. It has antibacterial & anti-inflammatory effects.

      Schizandra chinensis (Chinese Magnoliavine Fruit)
This herb provides powerful antioxidant protection, particularly from free radicals & other toxins in the environment that may cause cellular damage.
Traditional health benefits of Chinese Magnoliavine Fruit are brain & cognitive support, digestive support, energy support, immune support, liver & cleanse support, sleep support stress support & heart support.

      Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (Uva ursi Leaf)
Uva Ursi is used primarily for urinary tract disorders, including infections of the kidney, bladder, & urethra; inflammation of the urinary tract; increased urination; painful urination; & urine that contains excess uric acid or other acids.

      Zea mays (Corn Silk)
The Cornsilk herb is a soothing diuretic that promotes good urinary tract health. It is a common alternative to antibiotics when treating urinary infection result from bacteria. It also helps treat inflammation in the bladder or urethra. Corn silk promotes good kidney health & some research suggest it can lower high blood pressure in the circulatory system.

      Equisetum arvense (Horsetail)
Horsetail has antibacterial & antiseptic properties.
Among its many benefits it’s use for fluid retention, kidney & bladder stones, urinary tract infections, incontinence, & general disturbance of the kidney & bladder.
